Fletcher Jones Karma Squad Volunteers at the OC Food Bank
Another year and another success! Our Fletcher Jones team members and their families gathered on July 1st to volunteer at the OC Food Bank for another year to give back to our community. As you may recall from our previous visit at the OC Food Bank, we packaged over 4,000 bags of fruit for local schools.
This year, things were a bit different. Instead, our team packed a month’s worth of food into boxes to assist the low-income elderly (60+) Can you guess how many boxes we packed? The answer is 1,200! The overall collection of the monthly food packages are then distributed to 55 sites located in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties as part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
